Garlicy Black Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 tbs. low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • Salt to taste
Directions
    1. In skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
    2. Saute garlic for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
    3. Add black beans and soy sauce.
    4. Cook over medium-low heat for 15 minutes. Add salt if desired.
      Tips
        • Serve in a tortilla with chopped tomato, onion, lettuce and cheese.
        • Use as a side dish for lime chicken burritos.
